I'm surprised to see this, I downloaded the template when first posted.

Now I see in the market, "See your site in our Portfolio."

After some problems with the template and unwanted visitors to my sites, I want to be removed from this "list."

I will not be using these "free" templates in this manner.

I have been wondering why I was getting spam more and constant crawling from these links.

Get them really for FREE without all the B.S. like this. :)

I guess being from India, they do not understand English all that well, they don't get this post...

This is what I hate about the market. A brand new vendor joins, post modules/templates and has no clue about how to communicate with the consumer.

Glad that was nothing I paid for.

Funny thing is i made two sites on that list and a bit heated they clam it in there portfolio.  Sure the site owner must have installed the "free template"   but it is most certainly not something these people built from India. 

One of the two sites don't even use the template they just installed it to test it out yet it's still listed on there site as there work ....

 I can confirm this as well after the template was installed  a day or two later cpu load sits around 75% usage from crawlers and bots trying to join 100's of times a second.  

Either they are crawling the net looking for sites that have their templates installed or there is something in the template calling home.

I found this in the _sub_footer.html " Designed by <a href="http://www.bsetec.com/">BSEtec</a>". Do you think this is enough to cause the problem?

Probably they have a script on their site that searches for that link and then the script adds the site to their list.  Let me see what a manual search turns up.

Searching on "Design by BSEtec" returned About 539,000 results and clicking shows Dolphin sites.  Not sure what they are basing the inclusion into the list on.

SEO Tools  Back links  that's all they need....
