Login to dolphin admin and check the tools ->host tools area. Make sure ffmpeg is executable on the permission page, and that the software requirements are sufficient on the audit page.

That would be a good start.

You will also need to make adjustments to your php on the server side to allow for larger video uploads. The default setting won't even allow you to upload a 5 minutes phone movie.

I also recommend that you uncheck the H264 compression setting in the admin/flash screen until you get it working. The H264 setting can cause the video to take an extended period to render causing it to time out.

Your upload_max_filesize in your php config is set to 32 megs. Most movies exceed that number easily now adays. I would recommend setting it to twice the size of the file you will be uploading. Mine is set to 500M but that might be a bit much for you.

as far as your flash settings. Go to Administration/modules.flash apps and click on the settings icon in the upper right corner. In there you will find the flash ap settings, make sure h264 codec is unchecked.

Once you get it working, reenable the h264 and see if the improvement is worth the loss in rendering speed.

Hi

I have tried the login details for the test user, but I was not able to authenticate. However to make sure the videos are correctly uploaded and converted you should check:

- the directory for your video files has write permissions

- cron job for video converting is running

Best Regards

Morgan
