Hostgator does offer RMS but not on shared hosting. I rent a DS from Hostgator and they just installed RMS for me for $75.

Contact hostgator and ask them if you buy their Reseller or VPS Hosting PLan if RMS can be installed on it. They charge $75 because I just had it installed last week.

I have hostgator and they have my server set up with Red5 and it works (most of the time!) just fine! However, I have a VPS server, not sure if it's available for shared hosting.

I will try not to give them too much of a 'plug' here, but if you go to the 'Hosting' section, look at the very bottom company. Go to their website and click the RMS Hosting Plans.Very reasonable prices.

They can provide as a 'Stand Alone' package so it will work with any Web Host you already have.

I actually wanted to go with them, but they just offer yearly plans and I want to do monthly so that shot them down for me.

Last i knew, terabyte-hosting also offered it. Contact DosDawg here on boonex to see if he still does standalone RMS.

Hi Pitodosa, (you have a PM)

I see your searching for RMS, I will offer you free service until you find a better source.

I host several members from boonex that are new and not sure about RMS yet.

If your interested,

I did some research on your profile, the site in question, is that ****.com; if so the setup has been done already.

Here are the credentials to use.

IP - *.123.106.199

PORT - 1935

PORT - 5080

It may tell you it's not connected but it is, test and let me know.

If I'm wrong on the site address just PM me your current one you want to use RMS on.

I set-up an account to run my Dolphin 7.1 with RMS.  But, they jsut did not have what I wanted in web hosting, but I liked their RMS hosting. So I asked them if that was possible.

They first said no, then they pasted the question up to the Executive Officer, he said yes. Then a few days later it stopped working. They now tell me no they don't.

What a waste of my time.  Any other RMS external/remote hosting for Dolphin sites using a different host?

Any other suggestions...

So no external hosting of RMS is allowed with Hostforweb.com
