Hurry up boonex....lol

Sorry to sound like a pain. My adrenaline keeps going up and down and I visit Boonex many times a day. I am neither here or there. Don't want to invest in 7.0.9 mod's and templates, when everything in 7.1 is different  7.1 is taking long to come out, so cannot even start something from SVN as the I am told that I won't be able to upgrade from SVN version to Beta 1 version.

i was wondering, if I use SVN and when beta comes out. Can I backup all data from SVN version and then import into the beta version. Would that work or I might end up a messy site. Any suggestions.

Hate to wait lol. I have got everything ready in terms of server/domain etc.

I saw a revision for the 7.0.9 -> 7.1b patch, so that should mean it's close.

I think its very close. :O

I suggest if you have 7.0.9 make it the best one and make your investment more profitable.

No boundaries when 7.1 came into light why not make new site who knows which version you'll be successful.

Just buy modules/templates that offer upgrades on their products for free....like mine lol

You are falling into a trap many of us "old timers" have fallen into.  Boonex is always about "the next big thing" which is right around the corner and they lull you into thinking their development effort is your development effort.   You should know that when Boonex says "soon" they mean something quite different that what most people mean when they say "soon".   If you are serious with your project, I would get going with 7.0.9.  Personally, I might wait till 7.1.1 to upgrade, if ever.

@CALTRADE 100% agree with that reply, I remember the step from 6.1 to 7, over 1 YEAR! So I wouldn't  hold your breath. But on the positive side to that I would embrace the fact Boonex take their time and iron out their bugs before release.

I'll only allow this blatant advertisement because your 6.1 templates were some of the best I've ever seen.
