How to stop phishers!!?

I'm getting tired of seeing a bunch of chicks on my site asking for a date!  It's ruining my site.  Is there a best way to reduce phishers?  This is a free site.  I dunno if I should start charging them $1 just to get rid of all the dumb ass phishers!

I am assuming that you already have measures in place to stop spammers from joining your site? Meaning these requests are coming from actual people? Are these requests coming through the site email or some other way?

You could charge $1 for your site, but if it has been free all along, you may lose legit members because of it. If you think they would be OK with it, then I would suggest removing the ability to send emails with the Standard membership. In order to get this ability, you would have to pay a one-time $1 to upgrade to premium (as example).
