How to request Email addresses ?

Hi,

I see one of the options in 6.1.6 is to view email addresses of other users.  How is this done?  I don't see that option on any profile, regardless of the membership level.  Does anyone know what this option is or how to use it?

it was in the actions block of a members profile when you are logged in as a member.

Thanks, DosDawg -- I'm in the admin section and I see 'Email' in my inactive items in my Fields Builder.  Is this what you're referring to?

For the email address option to show up in the actions block on a users profile you have to go to admin -> advanced settings

and make sure the option for Anonymous mode (no contact information) is unchecked.

It is unchecked by default, so if it is checked, you must have changed it in the past.

Personally i have that option checked so people cannot get the email address of other members. It is a spammers wet dream to allow that. But your choice.
