How to edit root index file

Hi Guys,

I am trying to edit the real root index page file (or first page that opens) of my Dolphin 6.1.6 website.

I want to change the head information, description, meta tags etc for google verification info etc.

When i view the source on the web, (it does shows the real index page) i want to change,

but when i open the index.pho file in the root directory of Dolphin this is not it.? Where abouts in the

Dolphin folder is the main index file that opens first.

You can do what your looking for by editing.

www.yoursite.com/templates/base/_header.html
