How to customize the new messages with image

Hi, i was wondering if anyone knew how to do this if they can help me out!!!!
Well, what i wanted to know on the members account it shows this

on Contacts

Messages:      No new messages (go to Inbox)
Greetings:     No new greetings (go to My Greetings)
Friends:     No new friends (go to My Friends)

Well,instead of that i wanted to place on (No new messages) set a image
for example if there (No messages) it will show an empty mail icon or image
and when there's messages it will show it 1 new mail but as an image
does anyone knows how to do that ?

you need to to that by the language file. 

image must stay somewhere on your server.
use this simpel html <img src="yourpath/imagename"> 
But it will change your template because the image is bigger than the text.

well what do you mean

i go to Admin panel and go to setting and language strings

and i look for what?

 Do we really need to digress this far?  Okay, since he's askig the question he must not know how to even do a simple forum search so here we go.

When you get to settings do a search for _No new messages and it will bring up a group of language keys w/strings 

Please note, this is where you will make your adjustments.  Simple insert and img src="url(../templates/...") & an href=http://yoursite.com/....")
