How to configure the Dolphin rms

Hello I just installed the Dolphin and I'll set up Ray and he asked me the address and port rms, the problem is that I do not know my address rms.
Can you help me.

My host is Arvix.

If your host is set up with an RMS service, then just contact them and they will supply you with the details, if not then you will have to find a separate RMS service for that part of dolphin. your host will probably have one if its half decent, so best just to contact them and take it from there.

Does rms actually work if you have ray installed on your own server? I have been reading posts on boonex for the last week and most people are claiming that it does not work. Can anyone confirm this?

I have use RMS selected

for IP I have put my domain name, local server IP and I even tried my internet IP all with no success.

Can someone help with any suggessions? Whenever I use http://www.boonex.com/rms.html, it always reports a connection failed.

1.  RMS does work and Ray Does Work.

2.  The Boonex RMS will fail because it no longer exists.

3.  Just because you have Ray installed does not mean it will work.  You must install RMS also on your server (if you have a VPS or Dedicated, can't if your on a shared hosting plan) or you must lease an RMS connection from someone.

 No, the RMS Address for Arvixe does not look anything like that and it will not look anything like that for your own RMS if you have your own (which you don't if your with Arvixe)

Only the Boonex RMS was inputted like that (it was special, yours is not).  All other RMS' will be an IP #

Yes, it works. I have the Ray Media Server installed on the same server that hosts my Dolphin website. You shouldnt try to hijack this persons thread, just start a new one and people with try to help you out.
