How to change from simple to extended?

In http://mywebsite.com/browse.php  i will like it to show extended first instead of simple display.

i went to the browse.php but couldn't see where to change it from.. if you have any idea on how this could be done, let me know..

Again, i typed in my website title in header.php <title> but when i refreshed, it no longer show the heading it used to show as i have typed the same site title in the administration.. i removed the one from the header.php and everything came back to normal.. is this okay?

if you have any idea regarding my issue, please just drop me a message....

Navigation Menu, you can change URL from browse.php to browse.php?mode=extended,
edit People and All members URL if you will change both.

Change Default to Extended

A different request to this topic.

When using the search system, the results always come up "extended."

I want this to do "simple"

site.com/search.php?search_mode=simple

Where to change this?

Changing in the navigation like above works for certain pages but not here.

Been looking for some time now and can't locate.
