How to admin over members

Can someone explain how I set up members, as the administrator?

Im setting up my site & have myself as admin, then created another user. That user has a promotion membership which eventually timed out, i guess & now it says access denied on blog sections. 

I logged into admin & clicked the user then activate but it still says promotion. Im not sure I comeletely understand how that works.

If you want admin to change there membership type then go to ;

administration-->members-->click on the member name you want to edit (should bring you to that members edit profile), look for "edit profile membership" and change there, click save.
