How to Write Press Releases- even if your writing sucks!

I wrote this for my Blog and thought it may help some of you since we are all in need of ways to advertise for free!

You have to write a catchy title. It really needs to make people want to read it. I honestly don't know who is reading these press releases but the fact that it gets listed on searches when people search for your site or similar sites. The more you have read your press release, the more likely it will be placed in in search Engines. The rating of a press release I use which by the way is free to sign up and free to send. I haven't had one rejected yet so it seems you can write press releases and not always follow the format of a typical press release. One of the press releases I submitted was called, " Tips for Muslims Seeking Spouse Online I would have not thought it would have grabbed any views or just a handful but instead it grabbed over 760 views. I believe any topic about Muslims is likely to get more looks than any other group because we are always in the hot seat for doing bad stuff world-wide.

You then have to write a summary of your topic: It tells the reader what they will be reading whether it is worthy of them to click and read or not. An example would be what I used for the above press release; Seeking a spouse online can make for a very discouraging experience actually enjoyable when you adhere to these rules.

I don't feel this press release is a good example at all of a good press release, if at all it is a poor example. However due the fact it reached so many to want to open it and read,  I thought to share with you how bad you can be an send out these press releases. So don't be intimidated. Alot of you bloggers have wonderful writing skills and so all you need to do is believe in yourself!

The Body is the Press Release. You have to include who, what, where, when and why in this and usually in the first sentence. So in a GOOD press release it should look like this; " San Diego Police Department held a fundraiser for youth of immigrants in the South District yesterday afternoon." This frst sentence tell you everything. It lures you to want to read more, " These kids are 30% more likely to participate in gang activity said Police Chief, Holiday Sang. " We want them to know that we are the good guys before they end up in the wrong path."

This is all random stuff coming off the top of my head. But this shows you how easy it is to write a good press release. If you are the owner of the Blog or website you can pretend you are interviewing yourself. Like for instance, "Habibi Matrimonials owner said bla bla bla"

It is best to keep a press release short: 500-1000 characters.
