Hi
Is their a way I can get support for Boonex Dolphin. I have been thinking of changing from Joomla but it seems that support is not available for Dolphin.
What do you do when things go wrong? I have tried the forums.

we do typically use the forum. if you purchase the license from Boonex, then they do offer support. if you are trying to use the free version, and have a million questions, the best place is the forums here. also Jtadeo has written a book on Dolphin. well click on the link above the image. that is where the book is for sale at. for the most part, you have to be able to adjust and adapt. dolphin is not for the week at heart. this takes some time, and its an ongoing process. Best of luck, one of the most major components is selecting a solid hosting service provider that has some intuitiveness of this application. that would be me :) Regards, When a GIG is not enough --> Terabyte Dolphin Technical Support - Server Management and Support |
I only posted two questions not a million. They are about the basic Boonex Dolphin problems not a mod. I am testing Dolphin out so am unlikley to buy until I know it works fine. |

When things go wrong do a google search. Some of the problems can be answered that way. Dolphin is php+mysql. There is a free version of that manual at www.boonexnerd.net. Go knock yourself out. |
you know the person that put this book together had to take a lot of his time. so NO its not about making money. you asked where you can get support for this application. that is the first book released on Dolphin and out my consideration for you, i sent you where you could find a book. i will refain from offreing assistance to you in the future, since you seem to have a complex with the post i submitted to you. it would be my opinion, that maybe you need to stick with geocities or angelfire, dolphin may be too complex for you to manage. FORUMS and GOOGLE, that has been shared with you. Regards, When a GIG is not enough --> Terabyte Dolphin Technical Support - Server Management and Support |
what is wrong with you lot. I just asked a question. Thanks for the advise |
Is this sforum just about making MONEY? what is wrong with you lot. There is nothing wrong with us "lot". Calling out an entire forum like that is not a good way to start out. Just 7 posts and I think you've pissed off more people than you know. |
See my last post! |
Sorry about this use DosDawg, thanks for your posts and your time And also THANK YOU to Sammie, sing up on the forum after a bad day and you made it brighter As far as cmycoe - Stay with Joomla, they are apparently much better |
Hi Is their a way I can get support for Boonex Dolphin. I have been thinking of changing from Joomla but it seems that support is not available for Dolphin. What do you do when things go wrong? I have tried the forums. Yes, the same way with Joomla, you read and search for answers. Dolphin is not that complicated once you learn more about it. People here will help but you have to put some work on your end also...Alltho Joomla has a greater and larger community sometimes it also took me a while to get answers from the forums. The best way to solved most of your problems is to try and solve them yourself, don't depend on others...Ask any questions you'de like and if someone can help you, I'm sure they will reply...Search for your problem, most of the times someone else had it already and it's been answered.....Read,Read & read more,,after that,, Read more again.... |
As far as cmycoe - Stay with Joomla, they are apparently much better lol..Do you want to drive cmycoe crazy?..lol..He or she has to install about 10 different extentions to make it all work right, not to mention troubleshooting all extention to make sure they coexist together...All Joomla extentions are made by different coders and sometimes they don't work with eachother...Plus a lot of the community extentions have a lot of bugs... |
