How do i remove field compulsory

I want to remove the field setting for cumpolsory fields so people dont have to fill certain fields.... and remove the red astricx...

Admin -> Builders -> Fields Builder.

The join form fields are there. Click on the ones you want to change.

2 Things need to be changed. In the advanced tab. The box for Mandatory needs to be un checked. That controls the red asterisk. But to truly make it not required the values for minimum and maximum value need to be empty or set to 0

Also. The unity forum is not the proper location for your last 2 questions.

If your running D6 then you should be posting to the D6 Forum. If D7 to the D7 forum.

The instructions i gave you are for D7 as you did not specify which you were running.
