How do I SSH?

You probably can't.  most shared hosting services do not offer it.

It really depends on your web host and their permissions.   You should check first with your host to make sure it is allowed.  Some do allow it, but due to security risks, most don't.

If it is allowed, then you can go get "Putty" or another SSH program to log in via the access you were given.  If on a unix or Mac, going through Terminal will work just the same.
