How do I remove marker options from world map?

On the top of the world map there are several options for removing markers. I notice on the demo site that a few have been switched off. I only need three(3) but can't work out how to delete the rest.

Can you help?

I'm waiting for an answer to this as well. It shows the ability to check these off as desired in the backend for world map administration. However I uncheck them and save only to find them still checked.

You can delete particular section from the map by reviving corresponding records from bx_wmap_parts table.
