How do I phase out membership levels ?

Is there a method in 7.09 to phase out particular membership levels without impacting customers in those memberships.   I want to stop offering a particular membership level but still let the people in that membership level continue ?  Is there a way not to show a particular membership level when people are joining ?

I think you just take out the price of it.. Then it is there for people that already have it but then no new people can join it.. I think that is all you have to do..

TruckingSpace is correct - just zero the price out and it no longer becomes available, but does stay active for anyone currently under that membership.
