How can i disable and modify modules?

Hi ,

Does anyone know how to disable modules?

I would like to hide :

 1. Quick search in the main page

 2. Forum Post in the main page

I would also like to modify the search in the member's module. Specifically, i'd like to change the search criteria to First Name, Last name, nick name, and location; and hide the search by age.

Could someone please help?

Admin -> Builders -> Page Builders and turn them off

Next, go to Field Builders and create the items you wish to add to the search page by creating them on the join page, then simply add them to the correct search page

I have to modify modules items. Like in groups, I want it to pick a predefined values list from admin which I created instead of adding categories in groups manually. is it possible if yes, please advise how.
