Please don't flame me; I have honestly searched and searched to find the answer and did not see one that was exactly clear.
Initially, I was hoping there would be the ability to simple set a price for being able to place an ad using the built in Ads module - I see that is not the case. So, fine, I created a membership level that will allow the user to place ads.
With the membership level module added, payments added, etc., I notice there is no built in (unless I am missing it) way to simply sell memberships.
So, I am assuming this is the correct way, but please let me know if I am not on the right path. Maybe I am and just need a little reassurance:
To sell membership levels to accomplish the goal I had in mind, you need to add the store module, sell the membership as an item in the store and then manually (no big deal - this certainly will not be any mega site) upgrade each member whose sale is completed?
