Hosting question

Hi

I have installed Dolphin at Media Temple (US) on my grid service. It is usuallly rock solid.

However I am having a lot of issues with Dolphin, can't register, links don't work. member

pages are not being created in the directory, upload of music limited to 2 meg.

Is this normal, and is it better to go with Hostforweb.com? Or is there bugs there as well?

If not, which base service will run okat hostforweb.com, maybe the 9 dollars month 150 gig?

ON the Boonex charge of 79 dollars to install Dolphin, do they put it on hostforweb.com?

It's seems unclear on the Boonex site....

Hi Samie,

Im using 6.1.4 on a dedicated server (using ubiquityservers.com) and my site is being down almost everyday. My server goes offline/unreachable and I need to reboot it everyday or at least every other day. Server rebooting is now like having a coffee every morning.

Usual error: Gateway Timeout:
The following error occurred: [code=GATEWAY_TIMEOUT] A gateway timeout occurred. The server is unreachable. Retry the request. Please contact the administrator.

I have two active sites only running on this server. My host can't trace or i could say that they are working to find solution for a very long time (which i doubt). Im frustrated and hopefully someone here could provide answer how to identify the problem and fix it.

Please help.

Thanks.

Thanks Sammie... Good news is my hosting company is now working 'hard' with it. However, I will let you know the details you mentioned and send it to you if error persist.

firewall settings and any timeout limits

php config settings

increase your timeout setting

As a precaution, I will look for a hosting alternative just in case. thanks to DosDawg for suggesting one.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
