Homepage User Photo Limit

I'd like to be able to limit the number of photos displayed per user on the home page.

For example if i'm showing a block 3x3 block of the latest photos, i dont want one user who uploads 9 photos to be able to take over the home page.

Is there something i can do to limit this to only display 1 or 2 of each users's most recent photos?

You would have to have the code edited for this.  Are you talking about the photos block on the home page and not the Outline?

I've simply removed the block. Not all members are interested in photos of someone's baby or holidays, but if they are, they will go to the photos pages and look there.

Too many people post almost identical photos like frames from a movie clip or bulk photos that only interest some people. I'm vetting all photos before they're published and removing identical or unrelated ones.

What you want is a tad complex. It helps to consider other solutions.

Limit them to three uploads in 24 hours.

That's a good one. I'll do that anyway to stop the photo hogs. On one site I'm on a guy has uploaded over 4,500 photos which look like frames from a movie.

I know it's off topic, but people have also asked for a maximum limit (say 50 photos) and that's never been addressed.
