High-Definition Videos

I was wondering if anyone has been able to figure out how to support better video quality then what we currently have, Its not up to the standards that I need when it comes to posting gaming content from HD recordings.  Any information would be helpful, even if its a premium that has to be paid.

Hmm I'm not sure what you are talking about, every video i upload that's in hd has its quality drastically reduced to the point of almost not being worth watching,  for example i uploaded the ff13 video on the site at datinggamers.com and if you compared it to http://na.square-enix.com/ff13/ its not even close.

also note that this ff13 vid is probably the best video i have uploaded that retained enough quality to watch so everything else i have uploaded to this point wasn't even close to it.  (ill take pics if i need to.)

You have to ensure you keep the quality of the video.  By default dolhpin will significantly reduce the quality to reduce file size.  Go keep the HD quality go to Admin>Modules>FlashApps.  Click on Video Player>settings.  Set Record FPS to 25, quality to 75-100% (test out what you think will work, I keep HD in 75% to help a little with file size).  Click the box that says "Save video orgional quality while converting.  This is the setting that will keep HD movies HD, otherwise you reduce the quality.

If you set 100% record quality with the Save origional quality, you will have a virtual clone of the movie (too bad we can't have 30fps for max quality but eh).
