Hiding Components (blog, music, etc)

I will admit - I am quite nervous about posting here. I have spent the last two days searching for this information and can't find it, and a lot of the responses to questions in here are quite terse. That said...

I can not for the life of me work out how to disable / hide components that are not (yet?) used.

I would like to hide Boonex News, Blogs, Events, Classifieds, Music, etc

Thanks in advance.. and just to pre-empt the expected response (that seems to be common) about searching - I have, extensivly, but the "unity" search (via google) is pretty poor.

Cheers, Troy

Answered my own question :

it is hidden in the Page Builder - shttp://itename.ext/admin/pageBuilder.php?Page=index

I had already looked there - but the way the top of that page is designed - it doesn't look like there were any options - it just looked like a header bar with an option to build a new page - so I had discounted it.

Hi,

for hiding navigation links, go to your admin section /builders / navigation builder
Click on every menu link you want to hide, and set this off for guest and members.

A another way is to remove the menu link from the active screen to the inactive.

Hope this give you a way.

Go to admin part of your site, go to Builders> Page builder, from that you can control what you want to stand on the home page, members page etc...
