Hide photos on home page

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to hide photos on the home page from Non-Members?

Hi Micky,

Thanks for that; I had already done that.  It's just a shame we can't replace real photos with generic photos.  Nevermind, it's done now.

Ok Micky,

Here's a curly (pardon the pun) one for you.   Is it possible to allow a Standard Member to view their own photos but not other members' photos?

Sort of.  In the Membership levels settings in admin, uploading photos and viewing photos are two seperate controllable items on the list.  I would to accomplish what you are trying give them the ability to upload but not to view.  The photos they upload should still be viewable through their profile page so the can still see them.  You also have a seperate View Photos (photo gallery) option.

Hi Tally,

What I'm planning to do is not allow members to upload controversal photos into their profile photos; instead, encouraging them to upload those photos into their photo gallery.  This way, these photos won't be accessible to the general public.

It's just a shame that members can't edit and view their own photos, as most other dating websites allow you to do. Afterall, they do have the intellectual rights to those photos.

Anyway, hopefully Boonex will consider this in their next upgrade.
