I want to apologise in advance if this is a silly plea but for some reason, when I browse to www.sistasinthacity.co.nz it comes up with Error 404 page. I have gone through and tried deleting all unnecessary files and doing fresh installs and this still hasn't fixed the problem. I have a feeling it's to do with my .htacess and have looked through this 20 million times, compared to my other Addon sites .htaccess files to find any noteable differences and nothing seems to be jumping out at me.
Does anyone have any advice on how I can approach this please :)
Thanks in advance

I'm not sure what the problem is on your end but it loads for me in Firefox, IE7 and Safari. Clear your browser's cache. That's typically the problem. In IE and FireFox it's under "tools" and known as 'clear data' in FireFox. Good luck! |
Bummer it's working on your end :)
trust me I've tried every type of flushing cache I can think of (cleared under Tools, F5, Ctrl+F5, /?flush=1) and have tried it across 3 browsers (IE, FF and Opera) and all saying the same thing.

Im afraid its working fine for me too. Perhaps this is more to do with your DNS or something not reaching your server from your country.
Have a look at this site to test it

your not in LA are you or something to do with your server is in that region. Ive just done a check for you and your site is fine all over the world, but in LA it just Bombs out. |
Thank you both for letting me know, and guess who's a grumpr girl now as I've been up since 5:30am trying to resolve this :) Still no success on my end after turning off router, but I'll keep persisting and maybe next time I'll check on my other PC before resorting to the Forums :) |
My hosting is on Hostgator but I am in New Zealand |
You are missing the .htacces file in your site's root directory. My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees. |
I had deleted the .htaccess file to see if that would resolve it. I've re-uploaded it again.
Thanks it ended up being a local issue on my stupid lappy (even though I flushed the cache with all those previously mentioned methods).
