Help on errors

Wondering if anyone can help on these errors when trying to add an event (Got UE30 Events) Not had this problem before.

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/gdn11/public_html/plugins/phpids/IDS/Filter.php on line 124

In firefox get:

Possible security attack!!! All data has been collected and sent to the site owner for analysis.

Thanks

Nathan,

Max execution time is something you can change in the master php.ini, but 30 seconds should be plenty of time for almost anything to complete.

If I had to take a guess I would say the events module timed out because it was being blocked by phpids (that horrible security thing built into Dolphin 7). In Firefox you got the message you're supposed to get if phpids block you.

Do you have phpids turned on or off? The reason I ask is a few people have posted here that had -1 in the options which is supposed to turn it off but it was still blocking things??

Thanks, where do I check that?

No problem, it's under:

administration -> advanced settings -> security

The two options to turn it off are:

"Total security impact threshold to send report" and "Total security impact threshold to send report and block aggressor"

If you set them both to -1 it should turn it off.
