HTML5 video

Not sure if it's the html5 or the flash or just Dolphin in general but i STILL can't upload a large video file. Now, I get the 'upload complete' message but then, nothing. It never moves to the video title screen or completes, it literally just disappears. I can't find the video in the folder, it just isn't there.

If I take a smaller video, say 25 megs, it all works perfectly. I have all my php settings at 1000 megs as well as time out setting s so high, you could move the entire server at 56k and not run out of time.

I set the video setting in 7.1 to 512 megs, the video is 245 megs and it just won't complete. It's driving me nuts.

upload_max_filesize is set to 1000M

Max Execution and Max Input are both set at 1200

Nope, I'm on HFW. We have checked everything. There is another with the same problem and the consensus is there might be a size issue with the ffmpeg file. Myself and HFW have both checked all the possible configs on my VPS and all my limits are properly configured. I should be able to upload a 1 gig video if I want to. I cannot seem to get past 200M.

This is not a new problem and existed long before 7.1 came out...

SKy I insist i thinks you have some CDN or Web Cache.

Disable all Caching feature in you webhosting, site, DNS and try the upload again.  That happen to me and was the Caching option they cut me when the video uploaded 200M.  Same thing with google cache feature. also they recomend to not use the cache for videos and music upload files.

I should have updated this post. My main site is no longer with HFW. Since moving to a dedicated machine on Zarconia.net, I have been able to configure my new server to accept any file size I wish. There is a limit set in the background somewhere on HFW.
