HTML Source and Site Module

Could anyone help me understand how I may incorporate HTML editing functions, throughout my site? By this I mean, the tinyMCE platform provides this capability, but is only available for certain fields, within certain modules, like the "description" field in the Site module and Events module or the content field in the Article module.

But what if I'd like to insert a text link, from a unique HTML source, into the URL field or Title field of a module? Also, modules that don't have tinyMCE integrated, like photos module and video modules, how may I insert HTML source, with these modules?

Stemming from what I've mentioned above, when I upload a site, using the Site module, I don't want to use the thumbnail screenshot images provided by ShrinkTheWeb. Again, I'm trying to use a unique HTML source for this. How can I make the necessary modifications, so that I can use my own screenshot shot images, by inserting a unique HTML source, rather than ShrinkTheWeb's screenshots?

Feel free if you'd like to contact me privately to assist me with this matter.

Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Adding the WYSIWYG editor to some fields is possible; depends on which.  This is controlled by the HTLM => 2 (where the 2 is indicative of the particular TinyMCE init, it can be other numerals depending on which init you wish to add).

Hi geek_girl:

Thanks for the response. I'm glad to learn it's doable.

Is there any easy way of knowing which fields this is possible for, and which are not?

How can I apply what you've suggested to the fields and modules of my choosing, without breaking anything up on my site?

Can I forgo using ShrinkTheWeb with the Site module for screenshot images and use editor instead?

Thanks!
