HTML Block not saving info

Hello All,

Basically put I'm not able to save anything i put into the HTML block.

- This is a new HTML Block.
- I deleted and recreated the html block
- it appears in the admin -> page builders-> home page -< active blocks(col 1)

- visible to members and visiters.

double click to open the html block and entered basic text. clicked save. The block does not appear anywhere.

running Dolphin 6.1.6.

tried IE and firefox with no success.

Anyone else having the same problem, is there a fix for it?

Odd, typically works ok in Firefox, IE is another story, is hit and miss.  After you click save for kicks and giggles, try wiggling the HTML block where you placed it on the page. (In admin not on the site)  Sometimes that will make it take the change.  (Strange quirk, I guess the folks at Boonex like to see us wiggling our boxes....).  With out major surgery from there I would suggest you go into PHPMyadmin, find the block, and place the changes into the database directly, that always works....well, let's just say if it doesn't you have other issues.  REMEMBER:.....After saving the changes in PHPMyadmin, YOU MUST.....go back to your Dolphin Admin, and you guessed it, wiggle your box.

Hope Helps...Tally

I have this same problem, believe I did back when I first installed the program about 2 years ago and they went in and fixed it that time.  It's nice to know that it works (fingers crossed) in firefox, at least I won't waste my entire day.

Sweet IE.  I'm pretty much sick of it's problems.

boonex dolphin went in and fixed it for me the first time, don't know why this couldn't be fixed in the main code as well?  I have a new install now.  I switched to firefox and it works, but I'm having lots of problems with firefox in general since I upgraded to their new 3.0.  It keeps closing down on me.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
