HELP! system error: 146

Hi, i'm trying to install Dolphin 6.1.6 on my domain. When i leave the tab : Configuration and enter the tab : Cron Jobs i'm getting on that page : Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 146.

Does anyone know what's going wrong and even better : what's the solution to get this fixed ? :-)

Please help me !

When setting up the database configuration, did you put anything in the Socket and Port fields? If so, you might wanna leave these blank. Also, Im assuming you are using an SQL Database on the same server, correct?

Hi Zarcon ! Thanx for you reply.  Yes & Yes.: i left the fields empty and the SQL-database is on the same server as the software is on. Both at my hosting party.

I tried many times but i get the same error.

Hi Zarcon, i've got it !! The name of the server the SQL is on was wrong... i think i became a little braindead... grr

I used the ftp-account instead of the rdbms account. Anyway... i'm back on track.
