Guide to Sex: Add Third Gender

Builders> Predefined Values

Select a list: Sex

Value: transgender

LKey: _Transgender

LKey2: _LookinTransgender

Click 'Save'

Settings> Language Settings> Add Key

Key Name: _Transgender

String Text: Transgender

Click 'Save'

Key Name: _LookinTransgender

String Text: Transgender

Click 'Save'

Key Name: _By Transgender

String Text: Transgenders

Click 'Save'

templates/base/scripts/BxBaseBrowse.php

Find:

 case 'female' :

                            $sSexSection .= $oObject  -> genBrowseLink( _t( '_By Female' ), $sValue, $oObject -> genLinkLocation( 'sex', 'female'), 'female.png');

                            break;

Below that, Add:

 case 'transgender' :

                            $sSexSection .= $oObject  -> genBrowseLink( _t( '_By Transgender' ), $sValue, $oObject -> genLinkLocation( 'sex', 'transgender'), 'transgender.png');

                            break;

Save Changes

Hello all!

I need a little help with the predefined values builder. First, I'd like to change the dropdown to a multi-select for the "I Am A" field. Then I'd like to add several fields -- 11 in all. This will also mean that I'd have to adjust the css for both the "I Am A:" and "Looking For:" display areas. I am at a total loss as to how to accomplish this. Please advise.

and fill in the values.
