in the settings i have allowed that guests can read and write in the forum, but they can only read, writting is not possible, get the message:
Access denied. You must have special permissions to access this area or you are not logged in.
Have anybody a solution or an idea, what generate this error? |
I'm not sure why you're getting the error, but have you give a lot of thought to doing what you plan? I once ran a photo competition and allowed public comments. Within a week my hosting service closed me down because I was receiving 300 to 500 spam posts per photo per day. Some of the posts contained a single word like Nike or Omega, but repeated thousands of times. Some people don't have a lot to do. |

@johnk42 i added the rule, that guests can only write 3 posts a day, but it seems this is now irrelevant

When you give guests access to a site, rules don't matter. There are thousands of automated computers in China and Russia willing to be your guest and fill your site with garbage any way they can. And they will!! |
