Guest play music?

how do you set privacy levels to allow guest to view photos, vidoes, play music, etc?  I have everything set in privacy as public view - but that doesn't work.

Is there a setting somewhere else in admin?

Good question.  I notice that the dropdown list of privacy options when creating an album is:

• Default
• Me Only
• Public
• Members
  
• Friends
• Faves
• Contacts

In Admin, the Privacy options are listed as:

• Nobody
• All
• Members
  
• Friends
• Faves
• Contacts
  
  
  

I'm just guessing, but it may have something to do with the fact that the two options list are not a 100% match.  I have no idea what 'Default' is supposed to be, since there's no place to specify a default level.

now in membership setting you do have an option for non-members that would be GUESTS to allow them to view files..

This is a discussion about applying privacy settings to albums, and as such, has absolutely nothing to do with membership levels.  You do realize that this discussion is about D7, don't you? 

@boogerd .... I already entered one ticket in trac (847) about privacy settings, and this is obviously another bug.  This is all starting to drive me insane.... it seems as though fixing one bug, created 2 new ones.

Wow - I do see what you are saying.  THe privacy settings are all screwed due to different settings.

This reminds me of the Old License Issue with Ray.  Widgets have one name, licenses have another, if you can figure them ALL out on the first go you are then hired by NASA
