 Hi, as the topic suggests is there a way to have groups without the forum? I don't want to use the Orca forum (or any forum) but would like to use some sort of groups functionality, something that allows me to create groups that people can join and collaborate with others in 'just that group' Issue is it seems if you want to install groups, you need to also install forums.... Any help is appreciated. Thanks |
You will have to install forums, but just remove links to it on your site. |

Hey talking to someone who uses groups on facebook too many the forums inside these websites are better. When facebook took away the discussion boards many complained because information was lost the good thing about these ones is they are lockable and hideable. If you want to attract people to your site for your groups this type of thing is what you need.
