Groups New Topic button not working

All of the sudden today the New Topic button won't bring up the editor. I had a user making entries in a group and all the sudden the groups New Topic button simply will not bring up the editor.

I don't know if this is related but I am getting the following error. Yes, I checked the permissions on the file and directory and I have rw access.

Yes, I actually found that some of the folders were not set properly. I set them correctly, I think, and restarted the server but still the Post Reply button does nothing, not even any errors.

Sorry not the post reply button but the new topic button.

Actually any of the pages with the "Orca" buttons on them don't seem to work. I can write personal messages though.

yeah, i have the same problem.  when I click "New Topic" in the Groups area, it goes to a blank page ... no errors. 

Are there no suggestion?

I cannot add a new message or reply to any in any of the groups in any of the groups I have tried.

well - first of all I can't even create any group - just because error producing security image.

So please recompile your GD library with TTF support.

Any suggestions on why the new topics button does nothing?

I was thinking it could be a file access problem but I can't find anywhere where the file permissios are listed. Can someone point me to a list of files with the access required?

Any help would be nice.
