 When creating a group with Dolphin, it requires that you enter a country and city. How do I eliminate this requirement? And how do I remove the city and country text boxes from the group creation form?
I am rusty at programming (other than light HTML work) and new to Dolphin, but I am technically versant, so please keep that in mind when replying.

I believe you can remove this in the menu editor or page editor - I can't remember though. I would try to find the answer for you but I corrupted my installation yesterday trying to upload a new theme. :( |
That's the rub: the create-a-group page is not a permanent page, so it's not in the page builder. This is a curious blind spot in the customizability of Dolphin.
In the Menu builder, one can only change the arrangement and titles of the menu items. Although I note that the Create Group menu item has the URL: grp.php?action=create so perhaps I can find the answer rooting through there.
If anyone has specific experience with this, please let me know. |
