Groups/Forums Notifications

For those people who were able to install a module that enables them to receive emails when something is posted to a group/forum please help me. Notifications are essential to the success of my site and right now nobody knows when something is posted to a group and/or forum. I purchased a mod from expertzz that was supposed to do this, but it doesn't work. I followed the installation instructions step by step.

Please lead me to the promise land...I need help.

I think I noticed that DosDawg had implemented such a mod on his site- not sure if he is charging for it or if it belongs to someone else.  I agree that such a feature can be critical to the success of some sites.  It can especially help lower volume sites be more active.  I'll need this mod also at some point.

It should be a standard (free) part of Dolphin.
