Group's Cover Support

Considdering buying it... Would be better if you can set a avatar for the groups and it's also shown inside the cover. ( just like Facebook pages )

 We have added the avatar, and also fixed some bug about the group authors.

But the group gets your avatar in the cover???
I ment the owner of the group can set a picture as avatar, not his own one.
If a company wants to make a group, so people can follow them etc. you must need to set a group avatar. 

Today we have released a new update for Group's Cover (ver. 1.0.3). On this version the button "select" (for the image upload) can be translated on all the languages (you have added to the module language files).

If you have already installed the ver 1.0.2, you can overwrite the file groupcover.php and the folder "install". Then recompile the module languages.

NB: we have also updated the module Profile's Cover for the same reason.

 I agree.  The group needs to be able to set it's own avatar and not the necessarily the creators.  Any hopes of this?

Released the update for Group Cover (ver 1.0.4) with the support of the profile thumbnails (for who use not the module Boonex Avatar).

PS: the image must be of the author.

New Update: GroupCover 1.0.5

This version add a field for the cover position and width. This update require to uninstall and reinstall the module (no loss of datas).

If you have already installed the ver. 1.0.7 you can simply overwrite the folder ibdw/groupcover/templates/base/css

Group Cover has been released for Dolphin 7.2 (Dolphin.Pro)

but the activation code now doesn't work :(

I just installed the module and looks fine but needs some adaptations for the menus etc.......

my fitrst questions are about the upload of the pictures :

- apparently the photos you load are not automativcally fitted to the window.... are there any specific dimensions/pix to be followed ?

- what's the way to purge (or delete one by one ) photos you previously loaded and which are still in the "Library" ?

Basic questions I suppose .......

About the sub menus'buttons.....

Is there a way to get the submenu as in the module Profile Cover , i.e. in a row at the bottom of the picture ?

I have installed the Premium Group module from Modzzz and after the Group's Cover module.

The problem I have now is that in existing group it is not possible to load new photos and when creating new groups it is not possible to load photos neither...... just the Group Cover photo can be loaded through the instruction in the Group Cover window.

Do I do something wrong ?

there is an issue with the cover photo when you click to edit it uploads photo but doesn't replace default background, i have tried multiple pics they all get uploaded as when click to edit it asks choose cover or upload but no matter what it just starts the process then freezes then i have to click cover box again to reset or it will just sit there frozing
