Google Maps API (v3)

For the new version of google maps api key (version 3), do we still have to insert the Google Maps api into: /modules/index.php?r=location/administration/settings ?

I am trying to figure this out too. We just upgraded to 7.0.9 today and are fine tuning everything.
Will let you know if we find an answer.

Yes, the google API key from our &.).& version of the site worked, so yes, you need one.
I don't see where you can get one from Google now though if you have the older version from Boonex

This is what I found...

Google Maps JavaScript API v2

Note: The Google Maps Javascript API Version 2 has been officially deprecated as of May 19, 2010. The v2 API will continue to work as per our deprecation policy, but we encourage you to migrate your code to version 3 of the Maps Javascript API.

The APIs Console can be used to generate new keys for your existing Maps JavaScript API v2 applications. Learn how to use an APIs Console key.

Google Maps API for Flash

Note: The Google Maps API for Flash has been officially deprecated as of September 2, 2011. The Flash API will continue to work as per our deprecation policy, but we encourage you to migrate your code to version 3 of the Google Maps JavaScript API.

New keys are no longer available for the Maps API for Flash.

Go to the Admin Panel>modules>world maps and you will see where to enter it. It is a optional feature, so you don't have to enter it.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
