Hey Boonex Gang.
I just downloaded (couple weeks ago) the "free registered" version of Dolphin 6.1.6. I got it all configured "style wise" and such but now I'm down to RAY (RMS)! All my ports are open. In and out. We established that nothing was "listening" on the ports today so I know it's definitely not working.
Believe me I've poured over these forums and such for days looking for why I can't connect? I just started to get more confused cuz some posts were 400 days old and didn't know if they applied. I saw the install instructions (Trac) but was confused cuz I have a "Ray folder" in Dolphin already.
Is it my understanding that the "ray folder" in Dolphin is NOT the server itself?
Do I need to dl and install "RMS-LINUX-v.3.5.2" found here: http://www.boonex.com/products/dolphin/download/ ? It has less apps. And how old is Red5 that is in the folder. Should I use Source Forges newer version? Red5 0.8.0?
I have a VPS that I just overhauled:
Apache version 2.2.14
PERL version 5.8.8
PHP version 5.2.11
JRE. . .I forgot.
I can upload music and pics and shoutbox work.
So do I need a seperate install of RMS in addition to the "Ray folder?" The one mentioned above?
This Dolphin "stuff" has thrown me for a little loop being used to working with Joomla and such. I saw this product and went WOW pretty cool. So I gave it a try a like what I've worked on so far. It's just the RMS! Grrrr.
