Goals Mod Support (Modzzz)

This is the support forum for the Goals mod.

A few adjustments have been made. Re-upload all files.

Goals mod update - Improved integration with Points module. Added Point action for achieving Goals :

-> Re-upload modules\modzzz\goal\classes

-> Upload sqlpoints.php from the "Goal_files" folder and run http://www.yoursite.com/sqlpoints.php (change "yoursite" to your URL)

When I have members setup goals, even after the task is completed it doesn't show up as completed in the overall goal, nor does the status bar of the goal show up complete. 

Please check that your cron job is setup and working properly. The module uses a cron process for these functionalities.

 I have no idea what the settings in my cpanel need to be for this module to work. I wasn't aware I needed to make an settings in my server for this to work. Thanks thought!

I was able to fix the cron job. However, now when I create a goal, once the cron job runs it automatically moves the entire goal to the completed goals portion even though the goal wasn't complete. Any ideas?

It was a cache problem, I got it fixed. 

The problem is back...I create the goal and created several tasks. I go in and put complete for one of the tasks. When the cron runs, the entire goal is moved to the completed goal area. I know the cron is working because it is sending mass emails fine. This is a great module for my site and would love go get it working. Please get back to me as soon as possible. I think I know why, but no idea how to fix it. When I setup the tasks I get an email. The email always says the start date correctly, but the end date defaults to January 1st, 1970.

Fixed issue with goal completing prematurely and task end date not showing in email.

 There is still a bug in the system. I have done the update, the emails show correct. However, when you complete a task, all the other tasks turn to overdue when the cron runs. Also, after the cron runs, the goal does not update the status bar or completed tasks. The good news, it doesn't drop to the completed portion anymore!

 If I recall well, this was resolved.

Layout adjustments have been made. Re-upload files and clear cache.

Goals module is now compatible with Dolphin 7.2 . For those upgrading from Dolphin 7.1, please check the upgrade folder for instructions.

I am having similar issue with progress bar not moving and tasks marked as complete ar enot working. See attached images. I have setup cron job which seems to be fine, it send system emails and I receive periodic reports etc, as well as goals reminders.

Cron setup as;

* * * * * cd /var/www/public_html/periodic; /usr/bin/php5.6 -q cron.php

Attached images should let you see what is happening. I have cleared cache but that makes no difference. Thanks.

Just thought I would let you know that the language string; _modzzz_goal_single TEXT is: Band (not Goal)

I noiticed when you click the ADD NEW item in bottom right of dolphin 7.3.3 the word Band appears, ie Add a New Band? 

I have attached image so you can see. I changed the word Goal from Band. It says Goal in the image but default was Band. OK cheers.

Thanks @hawk007 . Anyone with the module already installed can just look for the language string _modzzz_goal_single in the Admin Languages section and change the text from 'Band' to 'Goal'.

No problem. I am currently adding goals, checking everything works ok and have discovered that the Make Donation feature doesn't return to a SUCCESS page. 

After making a donation to a goal after returning from paypal the page gave a PAGE WAS NOT FOUND error.

The returned url output was: 

https://mydomain.com/m/goal/donation/process/7/2?amt=1.00&cc=USD&cm=1%7CBilly%7CHawkinson&item_name=Donation%20to%20Goal%20-%20Complete%20All%20Membership%20Levels%20For%20Mydomain&item_number=2&st=Completed&tx=4F1584768TC147451K

In the Goal Site Admin Area: I have included a Paypal email (?). also the creator of the goal was Admin (?) But a user was used to make a donation using a different email to Site Admin and Goal Admin (?)

This is a little confusing to be honest as Im not sure if BOTH Site Admin and Goal Admin (if they are the same user, in this case the site administrator).

Would this setup cause the error?  ie: Because the Site Admin email was set and then the Goal Admin email was set (different paypal email but same user?).

I will try again now to make a donation but this time removing the Site Admin Paypal email in main Goal settings (in admin area).

Any pointers welcome though, Il report back after test.

P.S. I am posting here rather than personal email as it could be useful for other users? Thanks.

I forgot to mention; My paypal is setup to use PDT, as IPN does not work in dolphin 7.3.3.

No removing the email from site admin goals settings page didnt resolve the issue.

The same donation issue occurs with the Projects Management mod? Thanks.

Several miscellaneous changes have been made including updates to the donation functionality and privacy setting fixes.
