Getting Upload Errors??

Hey All,

I have installed my Beta8 3 times now (woo hoo, go me). I cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on with this flash loader. Everything is "File is too big". I am talking from a 14kb photo to a 1MB video. Seems nothing will load using that flash uploader.

The regular uploader doesn't seem to be all that better. I love how this little circle just keeps spinning, and spinning, and spinning.

Is it just me? Is anyone else experiencing this? Do we know how to fix it yet?

My phpinfo is showing 200MB max file uploads, so it can't be that.

For the love of Gawd, someone help me now :)

Ok, I was getting a YouTube embed issue too. Seems that if your description is too long, when you click submit after choosing a category, the page just seems to refresh and nothing happens.

Since the information is brought directly from YouTube when you embed a video, you might want to remove the Description if it is real long. That is what will cause this. There must be a character limit for the description.

Hence - Description of Youtube video TOO LONG, you get an invisible error. We should really work on how errors are displayed to members. I would have never known if I wouldn't have kept deleting info til it worked.

Fix - Remove part of the description. Or just type your own.

You are not the only one, I have the same issue with my install and I think others are having issues with the flash upload too.  I tried an 8kb png file and was told it was too big.  I am assuming it's a bug.

I'm just try to load a .flv file which sound be supported. But,

Using Flash uploader:  file too big !

using Regular uploader:  video upload failed, video error !

The file is less than 2mb, smaller then limit in php setting.

btw, what's the difference of these two uploader ? how to disable one should needed ?
