Geek Girl's Advance Membership Reset to Starter.

Geek Girl's membership has been reset to starter even though she holds a paid licence to Dolphin.  She has put in several support tickets on this as well as asking Andrew Boon to reset her membership back to Advance.  She is locked out of the forums and can not post.  The forums are the main place to get help with Dolphin, from other Dolphin users, and thus she is locked out of getting any help with Dolphin as well.

I've shot an email to Andrew about it, but something tells me this happened for a reason.  For example, if someone forced a refund on their license purchase from PayPal, I wouldn't be surprised if their status was reverted (or their account banished to the moon).

Geek Girl did say she clicked on the wrong button to upgrade her membership.   She does hold a licence to Dolphin and is using that licence for a website; which entitles her to Advance membership.  At this point she just wants to get back to Advance and not worry about upgrading.

Geek Girl's membership is still set to starter.  So is there really no one handling support at Boonex; is that the secret to why she can not get this fixed?  Should be simple to check that she has a paid licence and to check that her account is on starter and to go into the database and fix it.  Takes what, couple of minutes to do?

They are not ignoring you; this is not the support for Boonex, staff members rarely post here.

Try this page  they do answer there sometimes.

Otherwise email Andrew Boon at

uno@boonex.com, that is direct to him..

She has five, or maybe it is six, support tickets in on this plus three emails to Andrew.  This starter thing is preventing her from getting help on a module she purchased and is not working correctly; she can not even send a message to the vendor (that is an issue that needs to be corrected no matter what the member's level, they should be able to get support for modules they purchase through the Boonex market).  Note where I posted this topic.  Thus, I am guessing there is no support at Boonex, or if there is, the support is very limited.  If Boonex is going to be asking $400 AUD for their licence, then there need to be support for the licence holders when such issues as this arises.

 Yeah.... thanks a lot.

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.
