Friend Request in Connections area issue

When excepting a Friend Request by clicking on the Member Menu, you are shown to area from which you can except the request. If you select the one the other remains and if the user clicks the second one 2 emails are sent out. Attached image with one selected. I am not sure if the system is trying to write the the database again or not, but if one is selected the other show go as well.
