Friend Bulletins Mod Support (Modzzz)

This is the support forum for the Friend Bulletins mod.

This module is now updated for Dolphin 7.1

 I am currently re-installing all products on the demo site so there will be momentarily disruptions over the next couple days. You can check out the demo again now.

Just tried to test it out.

Two things I've noticed.  If you select the publish now option, it still demands a date/time to publish.  Shouldn't this date/time be over-ruled?

And when I posted the bulletin, I want to check the profile to see how it looks on there.  And there's an error on line 1.

Also was wondering, are the bulletin's displayed on the homepage and/or dashboard?

1) I have modified the publishing date to make it not mandatory. It is now defaulted to the present date and can be changed if desired.

2) If you get an error on the site just wait a while and check back again. As mentioned above, I am actively working on this site this weekend and there may be momentarily interruptions.

3) Blocks exists on the Profile, Account and Home pages.

Hey modzzz, my friends bulletin does not work properly, meaning that the scheduling of dates so that a video or a post can appear does not work. I am not by any means saying i am not happy with this mod, i think its great, but i think i might need your help with this, maybe an upgrade i use 7.1.4

The mod uses a cron job to publish the bulletins that are saved as draft. Ensure that you have cron job setup properly and working.

Some missing language keys issues have been resolved. Re-upload files, clear cache and also recompile the language for the module.

My members have complained that comments left on bulletins are not in their notices.  Would it be possible to add bulletins comments to Dolphin's alert system?

A request for a future improvement.  It would be nice if one could set an expiration date for a bulletin so that it will automatically be removed from display to friends once the expiration date has been reached.
