Could I please ask what image slider you are using?

but I'm getting an error just trying to get the module installed.  I have wrote to them and am awaiting a reply, but nothing as yet.

Also how easy was the image slider to install?

Dude I like your idea but the fact that your site looks like the facebook template will cause you not to get much members. I mean I like where you are going but be original. I was interested in your site from the post but as soon as I clicked on it and saw your template I immediately closed out of it. Just be original my friend. why do our facebook templates cause some people problems?

do you ever hear others telling someone, "your site looks just like this one",  I've seen many duplicate templates on hundreds and hundreds of Dolphin sites especially in the website listings here.

why this anger against someones personal choice on how the site is designed or looks?

It's not jealously, but a disliking for people trying copy well-established sites (even if only for their looks). You don't hear people rallying against other templates because their purpose is not to copy the look of <well known site>. I think people should try to create their own look, but in the end, it's up to them.

As a matter of fact, I do.  Especially when they post a link to it in these forums without any warnings.

But what does any of your ramblings have to do with the topic of this thread, 'Free Games'?  You should be rambling about the OP posting a link to a demo on his site, which you cannot see without joining his site.

Hi all....my site is an open site....Not close like FB.....Is only the design i bought....you can enter without sign up.....just like youtube. Join if you want to add media or make friends.....apart for that, just be a visitor. Ha, thanks any way for so many comment on my FREE GAMES thread. I think, Template design, Wall features and many other mods, is not original by ourself....If lots of people at using dolphin Template but just changes abit. So one look, still not Original...We all wants origianal, we would be here at the first place...Not the matters how you do, just make it big....so who cares how we do it....am i right???  

My response shouldn't cause you to respond the way you did. The reason why I said what I said is because so many of us are trying to move away from from the FB. It was sound advice to to fellow. Imagine the people who go to his site looking for something new besides facebook and see his template they would automatically leave the site. I don't need to be constantly be reminded of FB. That's like me leaving my wife and going to her twin sister, all that would do is constantly remind me of my wife. I would never get over her. Its the same with those who are tired of facebook. Alright lets say I love facebook, why would I go to his site if it looks like facebook? better I stay with facebook.

Hi all.....anyway i am ok....this is only my 6th posts in this forum and i got BOMB.....i accept all the comments. I am happy with my site and ways the use of original and not original. My members are happy with it.....my site being live for a month....the members rate to see, i am really happy........if this rate stay on, i think i can get something really big from my site. I am happy with my media uploading, processing and even fast streaming with my video player........so i think the members are more happy to stay with me. Any way, i am just being friendly to suguest the FREE GAMES, hope this will be helpful for those nice people. Here is a place to share....so no original over here. Even dolphin becomes famous and it will, dont tell me that people using dolphin are not original here...All of us here is to share and get what we want.........I hope that all your Template, Mod, and everythings are original from your own which we cant find anywhere

I too want to say one more thing about my response.

Leonpgm was asking for help (and IMO providing us with something useful), he is new here. I was simply wanting to help him, not cut him down because he went with a template that you don't personally care for.

I made the statement about adult sites because I help those individuals too, even if I don't like the site content. I can see beyond that.

Everyone here should be able to ask a question and get a good response without the sarcasm and redirect that comes with some answers.

First impressions really count. Leonpgm, sorry for defending your template and maybe "hi-jacking" this thread.

Hi newton27, thanks for your kind sentence....i really appreciate this. Yes, i am very new to dolphin and really surprize that my first post got this type of response. I do not know how this forum works and just asking people to help me out. But end up i resolve all the problems myself....Without any knowledge really takes me alot of time in my project.

I can't explain anyone else's response, but I can certainly explain my first response (Which had nothing to do with games, or Facebook people)

In your first post, you asked people to visit your site and enter the games corner, to look at a problem you were having.  I visited your site to 'enter the games corner', only to find out that if I were to see whatever problem you were having, I had to join your site because guests can't view the 'game corner'.   The simple fact, that I stated in my very first post, that absolutely no one else here seems to have grasped, is that no here will want to take the time to join anyone's site, just to be able to see a problem they are having, and to help.  In the future, if you have an issue with your site that requires someone to login, provide a guest account and login credentials.  You don't have to make this information public for all to see.  Just tell us that viewing the problem will require someone to log in, and that you can mail them the login credentials. 

You are new here, so I can understand why you may have misunderstood my first post.  Why no one else here has been able to grasp what I was saying, I can't say.

Hi HL, as i mention before, my site is open to public....just like youtube, as a visitor, you can just view the media...if wana add, simply join. Just waive off the look of fb and sincerely take it as a new site. I think when you see my template, you dont even want to navigate. One look, you just close it.....like others, there understand my site is open. No point talking about all this issue anymore and all the problems have been resolved. Just navigate and you will understand.

 Ha, thats true...for me, i join others site just to help up. Thats not the issue of joining or not, is the issue of how we look into helping. Not say that we must be active to join, just a process of checking the problems. Cheers 

Sometimes I feel like I'm trying to talk to a brick wall.  I give up on this one.

I have a facebook clone and like it...   I mean really... most sites I look at look exactly a like..  Dolphin.

I don't know how to code, or I would change things drastically.  I havce 5 templates I bought, and FB Deluxx is my Fav.   I myself really don't care what others here think of it, it's not for you.   And if someone needs help and you know the answer, why would you not help, based on the template.  I'm sure that's not what these forums are for.  To discriminate.

You know I had that stupid Facebook idea in 2004, just before the other came out.  But since i didn't code or have money to get one...   I'm not a Billionaire.

Though when i am ready for the major change, I will invest in a coder.  ;)

Now I am trying to install heyzap, but the code won't stay in my html block, nor in my sql.  Any suggestions.  :)

If you don't want to add extra modules and or manually change the code as suggested on other topics to make iframes and  google ads work

1. Create HTML block on desired page for the arcade..
2. Insert your the code I pasted from above (and I suggest when creating this block you insert your Language "key" i.e. "_arcade")
3. Open your phpmyadmin from you cPanel
4. Open your Dolphin MySQL database
5. Open and edit "sys_page_compose"
6. navigate to the last page of list with the ">>" button
7. find the caption  "_arcade" listed for the index page or the page you inserted code to
8. re paste the code from above into the "Content" field
9. and click "Go"

Clear your cache..

Why do the members here who are moderators and or major contributors feel it necessary to tear down anyone who doesn't think the exact same way they do?  Why not be more concerned with how your own site looks and keeping the members you have rather than tearing apart someone else's site?  Does it make you feel bigger than you are?  Cause to me it makes you look like someone who thinks his own crap doesn't stink and is looking down at anyone who doesn't think like him like they are dirt.  This forum is completely hell for anyone who asks questions.  If you don't want people asking questions why have a forum for that?  Why beat up your own members because you think your crap doesn't stink?  Every time I come here for help I search the forum to see if someone has asked the same question and then read all the angry responses basically making the questioner feel like a moron.  Not sure about the business you work with but I would never treat my clients and or potential clients in the manner which some are here.  If you have nothing good to say than  keep your thoughts to yourself cause no one hear needs or wants to hear them.  I cannot believe the moderators allow this flaming to go on and do nothing about these posts.  These posts do not make Boonex or it's products look good and even worse when those doing the bashing are moderators and or developers of the product someone is here to inquire about.  Behave yourself and quit acting like you know everything.  When you first learned this product you had questions too and obviously someone took the time and had patience with you to teach you.  Why not do that and quit acting like a know it all.  Don't like a site?  It's not yours so why tear it down.  I am very disappointed in how this site is moderated and those who do the bullying over and over again and are allowed to do it freely.  Time for Andrew to look at who is bringing the company down and then get rid of them.  No matter how much you think you know, there is always someone who knows a little more and will be glad to take your place.  Tsk tsk  it's like dealing with little children in this forum.

Just a note on this again, heyzap also has a game widget with a black background for users of dark templates.

 I might add that you have the option to select games on heyzap, by catagory; like only "social" games which are usually facebook games and allow you to play with all your pals that use facebook.

Also allowing you to save to a favorites tab, rate the games, and embed code.
