Fraud attempt in paypal

I have received this message from the system:

"Fraud attempt was detected in xxxxxxxx checkout system.
Here is details:
Date/time: Thursday 15th 2009f January 2009 04:18:30 PM
IP: xxxxxx
Payment module name: paypal
Message: Wrong receiver email"

The IP on the attempt shows as belonging to e-bay (?!?)

I have checked and re-checked my settings - everything is alright. I went ahead and made a test accunt and a test membership - and used the system to "upgrade" the test account - everything went fine.

Any ideas? This is my first experience with Dolphin - so I am not entirely sure what to think.

Ok, I went ahead and checked the paypal account - seems a payment WAS made, but in Dolphin the member's membership was NOT automatically upgraded.

I'm stuck. Anyone?

I believe I have figured out the problem with this.  I was able to get it working for me.  Let me know if you are still having trouble, and I can tell you what I did that made it work :)

Well it's not like it didn't work, you know, giving that member Gold membership for a month manually wasn't THAT hard. I was simply wondering what had caused the "fraud attempt" thing.

Id like to know how this was taken care of. Im still getting the Fraud error, and its not updating the membership. How was this fixed?

use main email....fraud attempts come if you use sub accounts

say I have darrenpowless@gmail.com and in paypal I make another account and try to use it ...the error loads. I must use darrenpowless@gmail.com not any other one.

mh ok

 

i have change the email from the admin account. And now i become no email with the error massage, but for the user is the same error massage, the user will not automatic set to the new membership level.

 

I have make the fixes from the ticket with this problem but it dont work for me.

 

Have anybody a fix for this problem??
