Forum unresponsive in creating topics and posts

Hello Dolphinland,

I just upgraded from 7.0.9 and having an issue with the fourms. They work fine gonig through the upper menus and default "general" topic tab but as admin or test user I cannot add a topic or a post. When I click on the New Topic, New Group, Edit, or New Forum buttons nothing happens. There are no error messages, it just sits there and nothing happens. I have recompiled and cleared cache for both the script as well as browser. This happens in Firefox, IE and Chrome.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Have you verified the permissions for the membership is allowed to do that?

Thanks Csampson for the response. Yes, I have a custom account level since I don't want standard level members to be able to do certain things. I checked and everything is enabled under the settings >Mebership Levels> Executive> Actions. Is there somewhere else I should look? I'm listed as the Admin so I thought I should be able to do anything that needs to be done by default, or is that wishful thinking?

I am facing the same issue. 

Changed Forum names, Topics, different words, different languages, nothing happens. I just click "submit" button to create a topic and nothing happens

I have also tried doing this from administrator's profile wih full level access and in different browsers (Mozilla and Opera)

Ok, Problem SOLVED!

After a lot of searching I found out that the issue was module "Bad Words Protect Plus".

I had to uncheck "Enable Protection In Forum (Topics And Posts)" as well as "Enable Protection In Mail Messages". Now everything is ok...

But what about the protection?
