Forum not loading

I created two Forum Category "folders" with a forum hyperlink next to the folder with the name of the  Forum Category, but when I click on the hyperlink  to post a topic a message pops up for a split second that says "loading...." then nothing happens. And why do the menu items like TOPIC have double brackets around them and are inactive? I'm using Orca 6.1.4 FREE version on my site http://www.myartfriends.com and I'm having fun with my site, which works well for the most part. Thanks, George

the [] are there because you need to hit the en to compile the language files for orca. as to why its not loading, i would like to take a look at your phpinfo().
