Forum Restrictions based on Membership Level

I was wondering if it was possible to limit certain sections of the forums/specific forums to particular membership levels only? I'm not finding any options for that - only for restricting complete access....any help/insight would be appreciated :)

Orca is not a very advanced forum. Your not finding any options to do that because there aren't any.

That's what I was afraid of...lol. Thanks. I've just never seen a forum format that doesn't allow you to have certain forums available to certain people.

have two option:

1) use from ( admin panel ---> modules ---> Page Access Control ) for limit certain sections of the specific forums to a particular membership levels

2) or select public and private viewing in settings of membership level ( admin panel ---> settings ---> Membership Levels ---> Custom Levels  ---> Membership ) 'forum public read' 'forum public post' 'forum private read' 'forum private post'

but the first solution should do more for you

Hmmm...I don't have the Page Access Module. I'll have to look into that - but actually, that second option should work just fine without it. Thanks!

Okay, so I tested the Page Access Module method, and from my test account that, per the access restrictions, shouldn't be able to access that URL, I was still able to get into it. Any thoughts Giovanni? Here is the path I entered to restrict, but like I said, I can still get there. I cleared the cache and still had the same result, as well.

Is there something I'm missing? (Please keep in mind, I've only been working with Dolphin for about three days - so while I have experience in various design tools, I'm still getting used to working in this enviornment...)

you must check the boxes of the membership you want it do not have acces to this section and then you have to test it with an account that is not admin but with a normal account, because admin has access to those sections in any case ..
